I love the current 2 hatch.  I saw them all over Iceland when I passed thru there for work.

Why the hell doesn’t Mazda just sell this in their own dealerships? With the Mazda 3 starting at over $20,000, you’d think they’d want to have a car at the lower end of the price range to get people into the Mazda family. But, if I have to go to a Toyota dealership to get my Mazda 2 fix, then that’s where I’ll go.

It boggles my mind too.  It makes much better business sense now.  I guess it would go against their philosophy of moving up market though.

It’s a shame we never got them here, unless you count the cx3 I guess. We’ll see what Toyota will do to it, their rebadge never looked as good as the mazda2 to me.

True, but we will be able to get body panels from Mazda PR or overseas and make it into a proper 2.  I just hope it comes with carplay or android auto.
